Following Canelo's visit to Earth, he invites Layla to visit his home, where she views some of the wonders of his planet. However, she finds out that people on his planet treat others with differences in a cruel way. The story looks at issues such as racial inequality, lack of religious freedom and many other forms of inequality in society.
